Since 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has set the standard for educating the public and the medical community about skin cancer, its prevention by means of sun protection, the need for early detection and prompt, effective treatment. HG Foundation is dedicated to helping the gaming community and young people globally to lead happier, healthier lives. Traditional mental health resources are too slow, too expensive, and don't relate to young people as well moving through a digital world. We fund research grants, second chance grants, and advance policy towards more comprehensive mental health solutions.
Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore has provided more than 420 million meals to neighbors in need. We serve 11 cities and counties, where one in eight residents experience food insecurity. In these communities, we play a vital role in the fight against hunger by collecting, storing, and distributing nutritious food. Beyond food access, we focus on long-term solutions by addressing the root causes of hunger and promoting self-sufficiency.
